Five years after Samsung launched its large Android phone with the built-in stylus, we now have the Galaxy Note 7, also known as the “phablet”.”Although other manufacturers have tried it with large phones with a built-in stylus, the Galaxy Note 7 has constantly surpassed them every year and is considered the best large-screen smartphone you can get.

This time there are more additions and improvements, including a waterproof pen and body and an iris scanner. Although it is the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, it is the sixth smartphone in this series, and Samsung has intentionally missed a number so that it fits the Galaxy s series.

Here are the features of Samsung Note 7 in detail.

Design

The Galaxy Note 7 has a curved glass on the back and on the front and yet Samsung has the perfect design symmetry that makes it the most elegant Galaxy Note so far. It also makes it much easier to handle, which belies its size, 5,7 inches diagonally. It is also 2mm narrower than the previous model, which also adds to the ease of use with one hand. The device is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 169 grams.

The glass itself is exceptionally resistant and comes from Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. This makes the Note 7 much less prone to scratches and damage if you drop it. Like all high-end smartphones this year, it is also completely waterproof.

Material

The hardware consists of the same Qualcomm processor, 4 Gb of RAM and a 12 megapixel camera as the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, the Note 7 has twice as much built-in memory with 64 GB, and you can expand it through the Micro SD card slot. At the heart of the hardware is the 5.7-inch QHD Super Amoled screen, which is incredibly sharp with fantastic colors, excellent viewing angles and high contrast with sunlight, which has little impact on it.

New hardware features include the iris scanner and the USB Type-C port. It also includes a micro USB adapter to make the Note 7 compatible with old accessories. There are a variety of wireless connections available is common, and the phone has a 3,500 mAh battery, which has the ability to charge wirelessly and charge quickly via cable.

With the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung presents a new Gear VR headset that has significantly improved ergonomics and a smoother design. It connects to the device through a USB Type-C port, but there is also a micro USB adapter that makes it compatible with all previous Samsung phones to the Galaxy S6.

Due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, the Note 7 works very well. Even with many open applications, performance was not significantly slower. The fingerprint sensor is just as good, if not better than any other sensor in the Galaxy S7 range. There is also another way to unlock the handset using the iris scanner.
